Our client, a leading provider of industrial and commercial maintenance services, is seeking a Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician , you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth functioning and maintenance of various facility systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Location: Morristown, New Jersey Pay rate: $36/hr - $38/hr (Higher rates can be discussed) Shift: M- F 7am - 3:30pm What's the Job? Assist with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings and systems. Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire safety, boilers, refrigeration units, and associated controls. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Utilize CMMS computer systems to document work performed, parts replaced, and equipment histories. Coordinate with other vendors and team members to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. What's Needed? 2-5 years of related experience in commercial facility maintenance or equivalent training. Good general knowledge of trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Building Management Systems preferred.
