recruiting for the position of Receiving Supervisor at our Denver
Pepperidge Farm facility.Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the
Receiving Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating
all activities of the site receiving processes, engaging receiving
team members in daily operations. Coordinates with the site
material and production planning group as well as the production
team to meet all specified manufacturing supply
requirements.Essential Job Duties--- Coordinates with Material
Planners and Production Schedulers to identify production material
support requirements.--- Works with suppliers and brokers to assure
timely deliveries, validate accuracy, improve quality and mange
defects.--- Directs daily receiving operations and prioritizes
activities based on production requirements.--- Oversees and
approves the delivery, testing and unloading of bulk
commodities.--- Ensures inventory accuracy of all warehouse
locations within company standards.--- Directs transaction and
transfer methods between inter-organization locations.---
Coordinates the collection of site and corporate directed retention
samples.--- Coordinates with Quality Department to manage
defective/rejected raw and packaging materials.--- Conducts daily,
period and monthly inventories as directed.--- Directs and manages
all OSHA, SQF and Compliance processes and procedures for warehouse
sites and personnel. Manages site recycling center and associated
activities.--- Monitors safe work practices. Interprets company
safety policies, procedures and regulations; familiarizes team
members. Trains and instructs on proper use of equipment as needed.
Ensures a safe working environment.--- Monitors receiving
operations; performs audits. Inspects products to verify
conformance to specifications. Ensures adherence to quality
standards.--- Ensures PSA's (production staging areas) are
maintained and fully supplied based on operational needs---
Responsible for tracking and delivering all incoming raw materials
as well as any other purchase orders created by plant/corporate
personnel (examples: maintenance/engineering parts,
sanitation/operational supplies, office materials, etc....)---
Oversees the unloading of all trucks and working with outside truck
drivers to ensure all deliveries meet the standards of the
company--- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists team
members in solving work problems. Troubleshoots unusual or
difficult issues requiring coordination and communication across
cross-functional departments; follows through with quality and/or
process improvement.--- Develops, coaches and/or mentors team.
Conducts team meetings and familiarizes team with established
policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Interprets and ensures
consistent application of company policies.--- Provides technical
guidance to production team. Recommends measures to improve
production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
Acts as trainer. Ensures timely and accurate implementation to
changes.--- Prepares and records production and audit reports for
process. Maintains time and production records. Conducts
performance evaluations; recommends salary adjustments; initiates
or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.---
Schedules and approves overtime and time-off, records absentee
records, takes disciplinary action as necessary, etc.--- Estimates,
requisitions, and inspects materials.--- Confers with other
supervisors to coordinate activities between shifts and
departments.--- May perform activities of team members
supervised.--- May perform other duties as required.Education and
Experience Min Requirements-High School diploma or GED Required3+
years supervisory experience in a warehouse managing
supplyPreferredBi-lingual (Spanish)Knowledge and Skill
Requirements--- Strong communications, computer analytical and
interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable of SAP system, Microsoft Office
software.--- Knowledgeable in HACCP, LOTO, FIFO, and
GMP'sCompensation and Benefits:The base salary range for this
full-time, salaried position is between$57,475.00 -
$92,530.00Individual base pay depends on work location and
additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and
relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms
of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental,
401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of
