Our client in Wyomissing will be hiring an experienced Senior Accountant for their expanding department. The Senior Accountant will have the following responsibilities: Responsibilities:--- Participate in the month-end close and prepare General Ledger reconciliation.--- Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements.--- Prepare and assist with presentation of key financial metrics for the board of directors.--- Analyze the company's financial performance vs forecasts and business objectives. Summarize variances and propose corrective actions--- Assist with completion of external reporting packages and applicable footnote disclosures.--- Provide weekly financial summary identifying any developments or actions which could potentially have an impact on financial performance.--- Lead with the maintenance of SOX internal control process documentation and confirm that key internal controls are being performed.--- Assist both internal and external auditors.--- Identify, recommend and implement any improvements and enhancements to the department's policies and procedures.Requirements:--- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA Certification is preferred--- Minimum five years of accounting experience, with at least three years in Public Accounting or Private Accounting with SEC filing responsibilities--- Understanding of SOX Section 404 and internal controls and procedures--- Ability to work in a team-environment and provide guidance to Junior Accountants--- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion is preferredYou can forward me your resume and let me know when you are available to talk, if you would like to be considered for this great Senior Accountant position.
