Job Purpose Oversee, manage and coordinate all Financial Reporting and Finance aspects for the MCAM Americas. Facilitate the development and management of business plans that meet objectives to profitably grow the business and financial position of MCAM Americas. Ensure internal controls are in place and functioning and the organization is meeting compliance requirements. Make recommendations on business opportunities to capitalize on growth, efficiency improvements, asset utilization, operational issues, cost reduction opportunities and other strategic items from the finance perspective. Principal Accountabilities

• Lead the Finance Organization, manage and coordinate various personnel, organization planning and managerial related responsibilities.
• Plan, implement and ensure effective financial reporting systems, financial planning and measurement are in place. Read, review and interact with others regarding month end closing, financial information, financial analyses, cash flow forecasts, various business issues and reports.
• Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts, budget, mid-term plans, financial analyses, and financial reports regarding business results and finance & business issues and other required forecasts and reports.
• Coordinate and interact regarding the annual external audits, preparation of the Statutory Report, internal audits and tax audits. Ensure internal controls are in place and functioning properly.
• Oversee Finance of and provide direction and support for MCAM Mexico and MCAM Brazil.
• Lead the Continuous improvement around digitalization and automation of all financial processes for Americas and support global initiatives.
• Support merger, acquisition and other special projects. Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • 10-15 yrs. Accounting, Finance and general business experience with increasing responsibility
  • CPA or/and MBA a plus
  • Leadership skills, ability to lead and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
  • Ability to work in a global, demanding and fast changing environment
  • Problem identification, analysis and resolution skills; Sound decision making
  • International business and financial reporting knowledge (IFRS a plus); General tax knowledge and experience; Experience with financial reporting systems and integrated business systems
  • Ability to analyze, organize, summarize and articulate complex financial information
  • Project planning and prioritization experience
