Job Description:
The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing
rapidly and is seeking new members on our Separately Managed
Accounts team. Our primary goal is to provide the absolute highest
level of service, back office support, and personal account
management to clients within Investment Manager Services. This unit
will provide the administrative support for money managers and
their sponsors in the managed account industry. The Manager is
responsible for managing a team that is responsible for processing
corporate actions and asset data servicing including reference
data, security setup, and trade processing within the separately
managed account team. This team will work extensively with
operations groups within SMA to ensure transactions are processing
accurately and efficiently on a daily basis. This position will
also provide statistical analysis reporting to management on a
monthly basis as well as trend analysis. What you’ll do: You will
manage a team of operations analysts and specialists with a focus
on corporate actions and asset data servicing including reference
data, security setup, and trade processing. Oversee the daily
processing of Voluntary and Mandatory corporate events across
multiple asset groups. You will act as a subject matter expert for
different asset types including but not limited to fixed income,
asset backed securities, options, futures, OTC derivatives and
equities. You will create and document internal controls and
procedures You will liaison with peers in technology, solutions and
operations to build, and test new asset data services. Serve as
main daily client operational contact for the quality control team.
Ensure all established processing procedures and controls are
completed accurately and timely on a daily basis. Train and
supervise staff on systems, processing, procedures and job
responsibilities. Heavy interaction with internal clients
(primarily operations teams within SMA) via email and in person in
a professional and accurate manner. Cultivate and maintain close
relationships with operations teams through proactive measures and
creative customer service and operations support. Manage workflow
queues throughout the day making sure we are meeting our client’s
service level agreements Assist in developing and documenting
processes and controls for enhancements to our current quality
control process Provide operations support to various groups within
SMA valuate, write and discuss employees’ performance appraisals
You will conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with
your staff and provide career pathing and training. You will also
ensure staffing requirements are met by assessing resource
requirements, interviewing candidates and hiring employees. You
will provide and foster a team environment to include individual
development, promotions and disciplinary action. Your due diligence
and attention to detail during the review process will be key to
your team’s success while striving for error free processing. We

identify processes across the division and organization as well as

What we need from you: BS/BA degree in accounting, finance,
business or related field, or the equivalent in education and work
experience Minimum of 5 years of fund accounting experience,
separately managed accounts experience a plus Minimum of 2 years
supervisory or management experience Working knowledge of
Bloomberg, S&P, and ICE Data Services. Team player Detail
oriented Flexible Ability to adapt to various product deliverables
Ability to work under pressure Individual who takes initiative &
ownership of assigned responsibilities Ability to identify and
resolve/escalate problems. Excellent interpersonal and customer
service skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong
organizational skills Knowledge and expertise of the Advent
Partner, Investier and Invest One systems preferred Basic
knowledge/structure of Fund Accounting principles Experience with
various alternative fund structures a plus Ability to analyze
issues quickly and independently and take appropriate action under
tight time constraints. Must be willing to work in an open floor
