MD? The Procurement Manager at Brightview Senior Living plays a
critical role in supporting Brightview communities and operational
teams by designing and optimizing systems, tools, and processes
that promote efficient and cost-effective procurement, purchasing,
and inventory management. In this position, the Procurement Manager
works to maximize the organization’s portfolio-wide buying power to
negotiate favorable vendor agreements, manage contracts, and drive
strategic sourcing initiatives. This role also works to streamline
invoicing, accounts payable workflows, and contract management
processes to improve operational efficiency, strengthen vendor
partnerships, and ensure consistent purchasing standards across the
organization. Responsibilities: Consistently and genuinely
demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action,
Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions. Partner
closely with operations and support departments to identify
procurement and purchasing needs, specifications for required
supplies and equipment, and inventory expectations. Develop and
maintain managed order guides and vendor management tools that
allow for routine purchases to be completed efficiently and cost
effectively; monitor compliance with use of the guides and address
as appropriate. Serve as context expert and administrative owner of
Procure to pay/Procurement system; leverage expertise to support
users. Seek out, establish and maintain vendor partnerships that
provide quality products and services at favorable pricing;
negotiate pricing and terms of agreements; complete thorough due
diligence of new vendors. Prepare and/or review new contracts to
confirm compliance with Brightview standards and contract
guidelines. Develop, track, monitor and share metrics to
effectively report on spend, savings, trends, and other data points
to evaluate procurement and purchasing practices. Other duties as
assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises the
Contract and Licensing Specialist. Carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with BVSL policies and applicable
laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training
associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing
complaints and resolving problems. Salary Range: USD $110,000.00 -
USD $120,000.00 /Yr. Compensation Disclosure: The salary range
mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does
not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor
does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will
consider factors like experience, qualifications, location,
community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc.
Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain
management or a related field and a minimum of five years’
experience in procurement and purchasing or administration; or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. Skilled in
contract negotiation, vendor management, and procurement.
Experience with electronic procurement software strongly preferred.
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and Internet based
applications and the ability to quickly master new applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proper
