The Department of Human Services is searching for a dedicated Clerical Assistant 2 to provide clerical support at theWernersville State Hospital. We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, and compassionate employee to join our team in the Social Work Department.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will be responsible and accountable for providing critical clerical support services to the Social Work Department to facilitate continuity of care, as well as the provision of social work services mandated by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS). The employee in this position primarily functions as a Court & Vecchione Coordinator and performs complex and critical duties that directly relate to the well-being and safety of consumers that requires knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, independent action and judgment. In addition, you will also perform assignments that are critical to the discharge and admission process that are carried through to completion in an independent manner with supervisory review needed only in an unusual situation.Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orGraduation from high school; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.
