Community Relations Specialist Opportunity - Columbia/Montour/Snyder/Union region and the Westmoreland/Cambria regionThe Meadows is seeking an experienced, self-driven, customer-oriented Community Relations Specialist to join our Business Development Team to support the visibility of The Meadows programs, services, and community initiatives. This role is responsible to serve as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies. The Community Relations Specialist is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility's services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles, social media avenues and sales methods. In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and department team the Community Relation Specialist presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA. The Meadows is a 119 inpatient behavioral health hospital and has been providing comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults for over 35 years.   Qualifications
  
  Requirements:
  • Residency within designated territory/region highly preferred. This specific position is Columbia/Montour/Snyder/Union region and the Westmoreland/Cambria region)
  • Behavioral Health field related work experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree, required; Master's degree highly preferred in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
  • A minimum of two years relevant experience is required; preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent follow through skills.
  • Professional tact and demeanor; Business Acumen.
  • Ability to work independently (remote work base) as well as within a team setting
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires flexibility of schedule, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel in the calling area and related
