Job Description:
H&K Group, Inc., a pivotal provider of essential
construction materials and services since 1968, is seeking a
skilled Lead Service Technician to join our robust Water &
Utilities division. This role is focused on leading our technical
team in maintaining, servicing, and managing water treatment and
utility systems critical to the infrastructure projects in the
Mid-Atlantic region. The successful candidate will ensure optimal
performance of all water and utility systems, adhering to safety
protocols and environmental standards, demonstrating a commitment
to sustainability and efficiency. Oversee and perform routine and
emergency maintenance on water treatment equipment and utility
systems. Lead a team of service technicians in conducting
inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. Implement and manage
maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards
and environmental regulations. Train and mentor junior technicians,
enhancing team skills and cohesiveness. Coordinate with engineering
and management teams to optimize asset management strategies.
Prepare and present technical reports and maintenance logs to
management. Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed to
protect team members and the environment. Stay updated with the
latest technologies and practices in water treatment and utility
management. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth
knowledge of water treatment systems and utility maintenance.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for maintenance
and repair. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to
communicate and coordinate effectively across various departments.
Capability to train and mentor staff. Medical Insurance 401k
Certified as a Water Treatment Operator or a similar professional
certification. Additional certifications in project management or
asset management are preferable.
