Job Description Job Description Job Title: Production Worker Job Description We have openings in a general precast construction environment where you will be involved in placing and finishing concrete in forms. Responsibilities Place and finish concrete in forms. Operate and maintain pouring tools, such as screeds and hand tools. Assist other crews as needed when pouring work is complete. Communicate and work effectively as part of the Production Team. Essential Skills Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and twist constantly. Occasional crouching, crawling, and climbing. Proficient use of fine motor skills to control machinery and tools. Ability to concentrate, understand, and communicate in a noisy and active work environment. Understanding and following instructions as provided by the Foreman. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to read a tape measure. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced production environment. Willingness to work in a team environment. Ability to cross-train in different areas. Experience in heavy manufacturing and some construction or concrete experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a heavy manufacturing setting, focused on pouring precast concrete panels. While it is fairly clean and neat, it can be dirty and involves heavy lifting up to 60 pounds. The role includes repetitive raking or floating of concrete panels. The building is not climate-controlled, which means it can be hot in summer and cool in winter. The position offers 3rd shift hours starting at midnight with no set finish time, depending on the workload. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EPHRATA, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
