Job Description:

Halifax Area School District is Accepting Applications for the following positions for the 2023-2024 school year: Elementary Teacher and Secondary School Counselor
Relevant PA certification required. Successful candidates will be persons of integrity, talented educators with strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Candidates must have high level teaching skills, high academic achievement, and outstanding letters of recommendation.

Salary based on contract schedule.

All applicants must submit the following: Letter of interest, resume, PA standard application, PA certification, Act 34 & Act 151 clearances, FBI fingerprint check, and a copy of college transcripts. Physical exam, signed Act 24 Arrest Conviction Report, and various mandated trainings will be required upon employment. All prospective candidates must comply with Act 168 Employment History Review process.
