Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for two openings at a middle school located in Chester, PA. This contract role runs for a full semester, starting as soon as possible through June 12, 2026. The position requires 37.5 hours per week working onsite with students in grades K-2. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate mastery of special education content, instructional methods, and related resources. Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards. Use formative assessments and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain strong classroom and behavioral management strategies. Collaborate effectively within an urban school setting and with district guidelines. Qualifications: Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification or licensure. Bachelors degree (required for emergency teaching permits). Experience working in school environments, preferably urban districts. Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances. Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills. Comfortable navigating district and school policies.
