Job Title: GPON TechnicianLocation: Quarryville, PAJob Type: W2 Full Time GPON Technician (not a contractor)Salary: $60k - $90kBenefits: Health insurance and 401kJob Description: We are seeking an experienced GPON Technician to join our team. The GPON Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our GPON (Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications, with a focus on GPON technology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.Prior Experience with the Following providers a bonus: T-Mobile, CenturyLink, Brightspeed, Frontier, Earthlink, or Northwest CommunicationsGPON Technician Responsibilities:

• Install and commission GPON equipment, including optical line terminals (OLTs), optical network terminals (ONTs), and optical splitters
• Perform preventative maintenance on GPON equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and repair GPON systems, including resolving issues related to power, signal, and connectivity
• Work with other departments to coordinate installation and maintenance activities
• Provide technical support to customers, including answering questions and resolving technical issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GPON technology and best practices
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsGPON Technician Qualifications:
  • A good driving record and able to provide your own work vehicle -that can safely carry a 28' ladder.
  • 1+ years of experience as a -GPON Technician performing both installation and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of GPON technology, including optical components and network architecture
  • Experience with optical test equipment, such as optical power meters and optical time-domain reflectometers (OTDRs)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
