This position will be based in Pottsville, PA where you will be partnering with plant/manufacturing leaders as the subject matter expert on current processes should the need arise to adjust, evaluate, or update to ensure production numbers continue to be met. This position is a perfect blend for someone who wants to establish new processes within R&D and have the opportunity to make a real time impact on plant and manufacturing capabilities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Lead Polymer process/product development projects - conversion of PCTFE polymer to film/blister, bottles, vials and developing applications, to support new product development* Lead support of PCTFE value chain projects - validation of conversion to and performance in films, bottles, and other applications.* Lead R&D process technology support for Pottsville plant process improvement and/or trouble shooting.* Serve as Subject Matter Expert in PCTFE polymer processing manufacturing technologies* Contribute to intellectual property strategy and developmentYOU MUST HAVE* 10+ years of experience in Polymer R&D or Polymer Process development or improvement* R&D Technology development and commercialization experiencesWE VALUE* Bachelor and Master's in Chemical or Polymer Engineering, Polymer Chemistry or Polymer Physics* Advanced Degree in Chemical engineering or Polymer Engineering preferred* Fundamental understanding of polymer structure/processing.* Experience in R&D strategy and innovation management* Project management and leadership experience* Data driven decision processes* Strong communication skills (multi-mode - verbal, written, data)* Hands-on fluoro-polymer processing experience in plant environment* Hands-on Polymer (film/blister) extrusion experience* Polymer (film/blister) product development experience* Experience in design of experiments, product design, and customer applications support.* Track record of successful contributions in leading cross-functional teams to develop new process and/or products in a matrix organization* Self-starter, with the ability to lead team to analyze and solve complex problems.* Experience in working effectively in cross functional teams and members with diverse background and levelsAdditional Information* JOB ID: req421346* Category: Engineering* Location: Pottsville,Pennsylvania,United States* Exempt*Global (ALL)Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
