We continentally strive to foster teamwork, engagement and enhance our employees skills and competence by providing appropriate training.Compensation Range: $90,000-$120,000Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.Job PurposeReporting to the Senior Manager Validation and Compliance Group as a Lead Compliance Engineer, who will be responsible for supporting Li-Ion NPI activities.This will be a hybrid role (2 days remote, 3 days in office) We would consider this role in either our Reading, PA Technology Center or Burnaby, Canada officeEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate validation plans to ensure all regulatory, certification, customer and internal requirements are met for a productWork with UL/Intertek/CSA to achieve Listings and Recognitions of ProductsWork with internal engineering teams to create required documentation for certificationWork with test houses to schedule testingSupport running changes of product lines and deviations including feedback on potential impacts to certificationQualificationsB.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.7+ years of experience working with an NRTLExperience in leading and managing a cross-functional team in product developmentPreferred Qualifications:3+ Years of Lithium Battery Testing and/or CertificationExperience leading certification with UL/Intertek/CSAExperience with stationary battery systemsSkills Requirement:Previous experience of working with Li-Ion Technology is essential.Familiar with UN38.3, UL1973, UL2580, UL9540, UL9540A, IEC62619 test standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office program suite.Detailed report writing skills.Previous experience of delivering measurable results in a busy environment.Experience of working with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.Good communication skills and able to liaise across all areas of the business.Knowledge of health and safety standards.Demonstrate a high degree of safety practices in the workplace.The Individual:Ambitious and career minded individual.Strong interpersonal & communication skills.Promote teamwork across all disciplines within the company.#CRPGeneral Job RequirementsThis position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.Risk of electrical shock.EnerSys provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
