Job Description:
Constellation, a leading energy company focused on power
provision, natural gas, renewable energy solutions, and energy
management, is currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join
our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for designing, planning and overseeing structural
aspects of energy infrastructure projects to ensure safety,
durability, and compliance with industry standards. This role
involves complex problem-solving and innovative thinking in a
supportive and collaborative environment, aiming to drive our
mission towards sustainable and efficient energy solutions. Design
and analyze structural components of energy facilities, considering
both safety and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to integrate structural designs with electrical, mechanical, and
environmental systems. Prepare detailed technical reports and
documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and
standards. Conduct risk assessments and structural evaluations for
existing infrastructure, recommending improvements or corrective
actions. Manage project timelines and resource allocation
effectively, ensuring project completion within set deadlines and
budgets. Stay up-to-date with advancements in structural
engineering and incorporate new technologies and materials into
designs as appropriate. Proficient in the use of CAD software and
engineering simulation tools. Strong understanding of construction
processes, materials, and legal regulations. Ability to perform
complex calculations and analyses. Excellent communication and
teamwork skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
