Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The Electrical Technician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The role will require strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures. Job description: Installation: Install new electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, following blueprints and specifications. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, preventative checks, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, identifying the root cause and implementing solutions. Repair: Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and equipment. Inspection: Inspect electrical systems and components for safety and compliance with codes and regulations. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Safety: Adherence to all Federal & State safety requirements, including but not limited to the Company’s safety programs Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Ability to be trained and maintain information in company’s CRM system Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize electrical systems. Customer Service: Communicate with clients to explain issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products and services. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Completion of a state-approved electrician apprenticeship program Valid electrician license or certification (as required by state/local laws) Proven experience as a journeyman or licensed electrician (2-5 years preferred) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, and other safety standards Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
