Job Description Job Description Applications/Process Engineer - Food/Thermal Systems Applications Engineer Located: Horsham, PA (just outside of Philly) Pay: $75k-$85k base strong benefits Position Overview The Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the design and implementation of applications in the industrial manufacturing sector, particularly focusing on thermal and food processing applications. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions. Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create and modify design specifications for projects. Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to optimize product performance in food processing applications. Assist in the development and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet industry standards. Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of applications and systems. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to promote application solutions and identify new business opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in applications engineering, preferably in industrial manufacturing or food processing. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Knowledge of thermal dynamics and heat transfer principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
