Job Description Job Description We're looking for a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Jessup, MD! In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain and repair our ammonia-based refrigeration systems that are essential to our production, processing, and storage operations. What You'll Do: Maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration systems Perform safety checks and system inspections Troubleshoot and fix system problems Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards Work closely with other technicians Keep detailed records of work done Help install new systems and run performance tests Respond to emergency repair calls What We're Looking For: 2–3 years of experience with ammonia or similar refrigeration systems Certification in refrigeration, HVAC, or related field Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of safety regulations Good communication and teamwork abilities Able to use control and monitoring software High school diploma or equivalent Electrical certification or similar experience with high/low voltage Bonus: PLC knowledge Must read and understand English instructions Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in different conditions Must be available to work production days, including Sundays Schedule: 1st Shift - 6:30am to finish Pay Rate: $30/hr Join our team and help keep our operations safe, efficient, and sustainable!
