Job Description Job Description SUMMARY The Quality Engineer is
responsible for Quality Engineering support for manufacturing value
streams as well as maintaining and improving the Quality Management
System and ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100
requirements. Responsibilities include production support, process
monitoring and improvement, product quality assurance, internal and
external audits, contract review for quality requirements,
procedure and work instruction updates, and problem solving.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for product quality plans
including assembly, test, and inspection, to ensure the product
meets all contractual quality requirements. Applies statistical
process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate
current processes and process changes. Utilizes standard
problem-solving techniques (8D, DMAIC, etc.) to analyze product or
business process discrepancies, determines root cause and
implements permanent corrective actions. Leads / facilitates
problem solving and Business Process Improvement teams. Monitors
manufacturing and/or business processes and identifies areas of
potential improvement. Maintains a working knowledge of government
and industry quality assurance codes and standards. Develops new
approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance
activities. Participates in contract review, design review, and
engineering change order processes to ensure quality requirements
are met. Responsible for managing internal audit processes.
Communicates effectively with suppliers and/or customers regarding
quality issues and corrective actions. May oversee technical and/or
administrative team members engaged in quality assurance
activities. *Other duties as required in support of the department
and the Company SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of
this role do not include supervising other employees; however,
Quality Engineer positions offer opportunities for career
advancement. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an

to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related
discipline from an accredited college or university. Preferred:
Experience working in an AS9100-certified production facility.
Preferred: Experience maintaining an AS9100-compliant Quality
Management System. Preferred: Project management experience.
Preferred: Internal Auditor experience. Six Sigma experience (Green
or Black Belt preferred with demonstrated use of quality
improvement tools, problem-solving techniques, and lean
manufacturing principles. Strong cross-functional communication
skills and proven ability to drive results. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,
REGISTRATIONS ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, etc.) or equivalent
experience LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Ability to read, write, speak and
understand English JOB SKILLS Excellent interpersonal skills and
ability to communicate effectively across all departments.
Proficiency in basic office software tools, including Microsoft
Office. Knowledge of statistical software packages such as Minitab
or equivalent. Basic understanding of database applications and
potential solutions. Ability to plan and complete a variety of
project types and manage personal schedules. Knowledge of
Organizational Excellence. ERP experience with SAP preferred.
Presentation and persuasion skills. Ability to apply advanced math
concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and
permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations tasks such
as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and
validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling
theory, and factor analysis. PHYSICAL DEMANDS As part of their job
duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk
throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle
objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to
reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift
objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. This role requires
specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
