seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chiller Technician
to lead their team of dedicated chiller technicians. Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Chiller
Technician with experience in the field who can serve as a subject
matter expert on chillers. The ideal candidate will be a subject
matter expert in chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw, and
absorption chillers, as well as supervisory experience. This role
requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills,
and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and
efficiency in chiller operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform
complex installations, repairs, and maintenance on various types of
chillers, including centrifugal, screw, and absorption chillers
Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and
develop effective solutions Lead and supervise a team of junior
technicians, providing guidance, training, and mentorship Develop
and implement preventive maintenance schedules to optimize chiller
performance and extend equipment life Troubleshoot and resolve
complex chiller system issues, including electrical, mechanical,
and control problems Perform start-up and commissioning of new
chiller installations Ensure compliance with all safety
regulations, industry standards, and company policies Maintain
accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system
performance Collaborate with other departments to improve overall
HVAC system efficiency and effectiveness Stay up-to-date with the
latest chiller technologies, industry trends, and best practices
Provide expert technical advice and recommendations to clients and
internal teams Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring
adequate stock for maintenance and repairs Participate in on-call
rotation for emergency service requests Assist in developing and
implementing energy-saving strategies for chiller systems Conduct
regular safety meetings and training sessions for the technical
