HIRE Location: Lancaster, PA Pay: $105,000 – $125,000 per year
(Based on Experience) Schedule: 1st shift | Full Time | Direct Hire
Allegiance Staffing is partnering with a global leader in advanced
magnet technology to hire a Senior Materials Engineer for their
Lancaster, PA facility. This key technical role focuses on
developing new permanent-magnet materials, improving production
processes, and leading innovation in materials science and
manufacturing efficiency. What You’ll Do Research, design, and
implement new magnetic materials and processes Develop and optimize
formulations for samarium-cobalt materials Lead process improvement
and cost-reduction initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methods
Support production by troubleshooting melt, mill, powder, press,
and sintering processes Collaborate cross-functionally with
Quality, Operations, and R&D teams Provide customer and
technical support for product manufacturability and performance
Drive technical documentation, safety standards, and continuous
improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in
Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial
Engineering, or Physics (Master’s preferred) Minimum 5 years’
experience in materials engineering or related manufacturing field
Strong knowledge of powder metallurgy, magnetics, and failure
analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-tracking
tools (MS Project, Celoxis etc.) Excellent problem-solving,
