Job Description Job Description Job Title: Parts Inspector Job Description The Parts Inspector is responsible for the physical receipt of parts and their entry into the ERP system. This role involves inspecting all outgoing materials, assemblies, and product components for damage, completeness, proper packing, and conformance to shipping papers. Additionally, the Parts Inspector ensures basic inspection and packaging of products before shipment. Responsibilities Physically receive parts and enter them into the ERP system. Inspect outgoing materials, assemblies, and products for damage, completeness, and proper packing. Ensure products conform to shipping papers. Perform basic inspection and packaging of products before shipment. Essential Skills Quality inspection skills, including visual inspection and quality checks. Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and blueprint reading. Experience with GD&T, QC, and final inspection processes. Strong attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong preference for experience with SAP. Experience with another ERP system is considered. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is located on Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay near Baltimore in a vast 1.7-million sq. ft. facility on 180 acres. The site is a bustling manufacturing hub with nearly 1,000 employees, supporting various commercial customers. The shift is from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with 5-10 hours of overtime typically required, and occasional Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middle River, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
