Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Maintenance: Install new HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units. Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in HVAC systems and equipment. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including compressors, motors, and electrical controls. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues in an understandable manner. Offer recommendations for system upgrades and energy-efficient solutions. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Complete work orders and service reports in a timely manner. Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC training program preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair. Licensing & Certifications: Valid HVAC technician certification and/or relevant licenses. EPA certification for handling refrigerants. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components, electrical systems, and refrigeration. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (attics, basements, outdoor settings). Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
