Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Field Service Manager:
Our Field Service Manager manages the field service engineers who perform on-site services including installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment. They oversee the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Develop methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery. This position reports directly to the President of the company.
Technical:- Must have Machine Tool Industry or closely related industry experience. - Knowledge of electrical components and circuitry of utmost importance, with some hydraulic and mechanical background also required. - Experience with trouble shooting over the phone to resolve field issues.- Ability to manage a team of outside field service engineers (FSE) including scheduling and technical support. - Background in SAP a bonus, but not required.
Responsibilities: - Direct a team of 5 direct company FSE's, plus a number of contract service technicians. - Assign machine installations, service, and warranty calls based on priorities. - Review service call paperwork prior to submission to billing department.- Support electrical knowledge/guidance with the fabrication team.
Experience:- 2 - 5 years of prior Service Management experience required. - Knowledge of machine installation/start up requirements. - Basic computer skills to support document preparation and scheduling. - Solid organizational skills to keep the department running efficiently.
