Job Description:

The FSQA Director is responsible for direct oversight of the Bell & Evans Plant Quality Assurance & Sanitation Teams. This position will provide technical expertise & talent management, including Succession/Progression planning & performance management, and direction of Food Safety and Quality activities to ensure implementation, consistency, and best practices across facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
--- Support the plant Food Safety, Quality and Sanitation Teams with vision, energy, and a passion for Food Safety & Quality.
--- Attract and retain top talent through growth and training opportunities, personal development, and influential leadership.
--- Champion a collaborative culture around Food Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement
--- Align FSQA Managers on business and departmental strategy and key initiatives; ensure all resources are available, implemented, and effective to achieve success.
--- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory and Sanitation programs are implemented and effective. Ensure staffing structures are in place to support program implementation and effectiveness. Develop and manage metrics to measure performance and success for the organization.
--- Develop proactive relationships with Sales, Customer Service and Strategic Customers to ensure customer expectations are accurately reflected in KPIs, Specifications and key process requirements.
--- Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and deliberate problem solving through implementation and training of CI Tools.
--- Collect, analyze, and summarize data from the field, production, or internal testing to effectively make improvements to product, processes, or standards. Educate plant teams on collection and utilization of data as a continuous improvement tool.
