At Avery Dennison, the Human Resources function is a trusted partner to business leaders. Demand for our contribution is high, and we love to deliver. We are looking for a talented leader to partner with the Mill Hall facility Plant Manager, and leaders for the R&D and PACE groups. You will report directly to the Sr. Human Resources Manager, located in Quakertown, PA. You will have a seat on the plant leadership teams, directly handle Human Resources within the Facilities, have one (1) direct report, and be a part of a large HR network within the Label and Graphics Materials Group in North America. Key responsibilities: Strategy - Be the thought and strategic partner to the Plant Manager, the operations leadership team, and the leaders of the PACE and R&D groups at the facility to develop the HR strategies to support the current and future needs of the business within the sites.Employee relations -----" Actively engage with employees of every function and level to ensure that impactful two-way communication takes place. Exhibits a strong floor presence to the operators.HR processes - Lead HR processes including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, individual development planning, compensation, payroll, etc.Organizational capability -----" Work with the site business leaders to assess, analyze and understand functional and leadership competency strengths and gaps of individuals and the organization, then work with leaders to address key gaps and play to strengths.Deliver team effectiveness, leadership development, and other training and workshops to employees and managers.Staffing -----" Ensure a steady flow of talent into the organization, including handling rotational development program participants.Culture -----" The HR Manager is the role model of and the key shaper of the culture we are crafting, which is one of innovation, experimentation, and challenging the status quo.
Qualifications
Bachelor--------s degree in Human Resources or a closely related major is preferred. A Master--------s degree is highly valued.Five plus years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing companiesExpertise in HR processes and employment lawMaster communicator, both written and verbalDemonstrated experience in the key responsibilities listed aboveProfessional HR certification preferred (ie. SHRM, HRCI) #MOGUL #PIQ
