best work.(sm) The Director of Quality Improvement Vendor
Management and Member Experience will oversee national quality
improvement implementation activities for UnitedHealthcare's
Individual & Family Plans (IFP), with the objective of maximizing
star ratings and improving health outcomes for over 500,000 IFP
members across 18 states. This position includes responsibility for
day-to-day oversight of the quality improvement programs and
vendors in partnership with key stakeholders. The primary focus of
this individual will be directly engaging with and overseeing
vendors to implement a blend of national and state-specific quality
improvement programs for IFP. Accountabilities include defining
business requirements and key performance metrics; managing
contract execution and related activities; leading vendor
management; and ensuring quality improvement programs are
implemented on time and within budget. This individual will be
expected to engage with internal stakeholders and subject matter
experts to align on the quality improvement strategies that inform
implementation. This position is responsible for overseeing
administration of the Qualified Health Plan (QHP) Enrollee
Experience Survey-equivalent to the Consumer Assessment of
Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS -) survey-across all IFP
markets. This individual will oversee survey vendor performance and
lead survey data analytics to improve quality performance within
the member experience domain and support high quality performance
overall for IFP. This Director of Quality Improvement Vendor
Management and Member Experience will also lead the population
health model for IFP. Accountabilities include overseeing the
national IFP diabetes management program; partnering across
multiple cross-functional teams to drive implementation of a
member-facing national social determinants of health tool; and
leading annual development, strategy, and monitoring of the IFP
health risk assessment tool. As a quality improvement and
population health leader for the IFP business, you will draw upon
solid organizational and interpersonal skills, and an
entrepreneurial mindset to drive initiatives from conceptual design
through implementation and ongoing program management. This
individual must possess a growth mindset, flexibility, agility, and
the ability to adapt to change while maintaining solid
relationships with stakeholders in a highly cross-matrixed
environment. This individual will report to the Vice President of
Clinical Quality & Health Equity for IFP and will partner closely
with the IFP Director of Quality Operations & Oversight and the IFP
Director of Health Plan Accreditation. You'll enjoy the flexibility
to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some
tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Lead implementation and
vendor management for IFP quality improvement programs, including
selecting vendors, managing contracting activities, developing
business requirements, and leading vendor performance and
effectiveness Collaborate with internal partners to develop the IFP
Enrollee Experience Survey strategy and lead pre-season readiness
activities, including preparing all readiness deliverables and
providing information to the Survey vendor regarding reporting
populations, survey eligibility, sample sizes, and oversample rates
Perform analyses of Enrollee Experience Survey data, identifying
member experience trends and using data to develop market-specific
strategies to improve response rates and member experience quality
scores Lead and drive the design, development, and management of
national population health programs, including a diabetes
management program and member-facing tools assessing health status
and non-health related social needs You'll be rewarded and

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's
degree 3 years of experience in a health care or managed care
organization with demonstrated track record of increasing
responsibility and accountability Experience designing, developing
and/or implementing quality and population health management
initiatives and / or programs Advanced or higher level of
proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint Demonstrates exceptional
relationship and teaming skills, with proven ability to collaborate
and quickly build and maintain relationships across diverse
functions Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication
skills Demonstrates self-starter, demonstrated ability to structure
own work, design and drive projects from their inception through to
completion Demonstrated ability to work productively and
proactively in a dynamic, fast paced and constantly changing
environment Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in public
health, public policy, or business Experience working on vendor
management within UnitedHealth Group or another health care entity,
including in performing data analyses, tracking vendor performance
on key metrics, and overseeing vendors and holding them accountable
for delivering results Extremely organized and able to keep
initiatives on track to meet deadlines; project management
experience Experience with the Individual Exchange, Medicaid, or
Commercial benefit plans Careers with UnitedHealthcare. Work with a

industry leader, our commitment to improving lives is second to

Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island
or Washington residents is $101,200 to $184,000. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
