Job Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring
employee adherence to company safety policies and procedures. This
position supports projects throughout designated geographical

safety program Work with Operations to ensure proper safety
staffing Verify fieldwork compliance with federal, state and local
regulations, company policy, and industry best practices Audit and
provide meaningful feedback, leadership, and guidance to safety
engineers Coordinate cross-training and conduct training as
necessary Assist management with methods to improve safety
practices and procedures Conduct and report on advance notice and
no-notice inspections, surveys, and evaluations Receive, review,
and participate with the development of accident briefs,
safety-related publications, bulletins, and reports Provide
technical and professional assistance to eliminate or control
unsafe behavior and environmental factors Provide progress reports
on safety activities, safety reports, and safety studies Regular
and predictable attendance Essential functions of this position are
to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct
and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical
conduct standards, if applicable Other duties as assigned ABOUT YOU
Qualifications Experience with OSHA record keeping, reporting and
Method of Procedure (MOP) writing Experience in job hazard & safety
analysis within the transmission and distribution industry
Experience in the field of transmission and distribution line
construction Management experience within a safety role Safety or
related technical undergraduate degree (such as CSP) Safety related
credentials (e.g., OSHA 501, OTI certifications, etc.)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Experience with Risk Management
Effective communicator Strong written and oral communications
skills Reliable and punctual Self-starter and team player Positive
attitude Valid driver's license Knowledge of utility and
construction safety programs OSHA/DOT related experience OSHA 10,
30, and 500 (Train the Trainer) Certified Basic computer and typing
skills Knowledge of OSP (OSHA Strategic Partnership) WHAT WE OFFER
Compensation & Benefits Salary commensurate with weekly pay. Posted
salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right
to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected
candidate. Two days per week remote work option for non-field roles
depending on position and performance. Medical, Basic Vision,
