Educator Support Manager- Full Time

The Educator Support Manager (ESM) will be focused on developing a positive learning and training experience for Educators, consistent with Empire's Core Purpose and Core Values, to provide quality education on a consistent and compliant basis to meet the needs of the beauty industry. The ESM leads educational initiatives for an assigned region(s) by evaluating and analyzing the educational performance of the region, the performance of its multiple schools, and addressing deficiencies through training, development, and leadership initiatives. The ESM works with educational staff and Executive Directors to ensure a clear understanding of educational processes, student advising, classroom management, attendance, retention, and other metrics while working closely with the Educational Services team to ensure the implementation and execution of new initiatives and programs, plus regular communication with the Educational Services Management team regarding school and regional performance.

This position serves our schools in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strategic focus on Education. Some of the essential functions are:

• Creating and communicating the vision for educational excellence
• Contributing to improving student outcomes
• Working with Educators to ensure they understand their role
• Assessing campus Educational Operations for quality systems implementation
• Reviewing Student satisfaction surveys
• To provide clear direction and updates
• Promoting the Student Salon
• Analyze Program Development and Implementation
• Takes ownership for on-the-job Educator training
• Participates in classes seminars, shows, and other sponsored events
• Maintains compliance in the areas of Education and Student Salon
• Ensures compliance with Company Policies and Regulatory Agencies
  
  On occasion, you may be required to work evenings and weekends and may also fill in as a Substitute Educator within your designated region.
  
  Education required:
  
  • Cosmetology license required
  • Cosmetology teacher's license (per state requirements)
    
    Experience:
    
    • 5+ years of teaching, education management, operations, or business management
    • Salon management experience is a plus
    • Multi-site experience is preferred
    • Proprietary education experience is required
