VP of Operations - Food Manufacturing

Establishes, executes, and enforces departmental goals and procedures in driving the strategic goals of the organization -within -the operations division.Creates production and quality control tracking systems and monitors performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.Establishes policies in safety, quality, material usage, capacity planning, production methods and employee relations to enhance safety and operational efficiency.Implements and leads manufacturing operations strategy in alignment with company plans and customer needs to drive safety, quality, productivity and delivery improvements.Enhances product lines gross margins by developing, implementing, and monitoring cost control standards, waste reduction strategies and production process improvements.Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.Qualifications-

• The ideal candidate will have executive- or senior-level experience successfully running a manufacturing operation.
• You must have a proven ability as a team leader invested in the development of staff.
• You must possess strong analytical skills, partnered with data-driven thinking, an affinity for numbers, and outstanding communication skills.
• You must be up to date with the latest trends and operation -best practices and bring a fresh and modern perspective to the organization.You must be a strong yet compassionate leader of peopleThis position -requires strong strategic skills and an ability to formulate the strategic direction for the business, including all major sales, marketing, and product innovation decisions.Compensation- Seltzer's believes in paying for the best talent available.
