JOB SUMMARY:This position will have direct responsibilities over one or more high profile key accounts with responsibility for maintaining and growing the business. They will need to ensure these customers derive the maximum value from our relationship, including developing strategies around new items, promotions, merchandising, and beyond. It will be key for the individual to be an ambassador of the brand, an expert in product knowledge, and a strong customer advocate.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Other duties may be assigned.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain a strong relationship with customers.Grow and support all aspects of the customer's account.Communicate with customers at a senior level regarding all issues or inquiries.Maintain good internal communications to relay customer feedback and identify updates that should be shared with customers.Generate innovative ideas to support customer and internal initiatives.Work with customers to utilize available products to add value where possible.Work collaboratively with Sales, Business Development, and Marketing to establish goals and projects.Lead key initiatives and projects to support sales and customer service goals.Support sales forecasts and interpret sales data. Key Performance IndicatorsCustomer SatisfactionCustomer GrowthNew Item Placement and SKU PenetrationThoroughness of CommunicationGoal and Project PerformanceEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A four-year degree from an accredited institution in a Sales and Marketing or related field, and/or 5 or more years of experience in Sales and or Marketing in Food/Protein preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.COMPUTER SKILLS:Understanding personal computer applications and tools.FOOD SAFETY:Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Must have a valid driver's License.OTHER SKILLS AND QULIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
