Position Summary: The (Remote) Manager, Digital Learning Solutions
plays an active role in the design, implementation, and integration
of Learning Management Systems though collaborating with customers
to gather business requirements and partnering with Learning Design
team and Vendors to deliver enhanced system functionality and
resolve complex issues. The Manager, Digital Learning Solutions
will utilize complex reports to gather and analyze system
information and is pro-active researching system functionality and
business challenges. Major Responsibilities: • Lead the design, and
implementation of a digital infrastructure plan that connects our
learning management systems, learning content, and learner
completion records by collaborating with IT and vendors. • Work
with customers to analyze project requests and align proposed
solutions with the product roadmap, customer plans, and strategic
goals to make certain infrastructure capacity meets existing and
future requirements. • Lead the design of our Talent Development
team's digital presence on all platforms including Sharepoint,
theLoop, and Oracle Learning Cloud to ensure a seamless user
experience and access to all learning content and information. •
Manage and monitors all TD installed systems and infrastructure to
be in line with company guidelines or SOP (standard operating
procedure). • Lead the creation and distribution of complex
reports. Will also be familiar with data visualization processes
and Penske reporting and analytic standards. Will establish
detailed procedures for reoccurring reports so they can be
reproduced other team members. • Create standards for advanced
level customer support, and configuration of courses and training
plans to meet training needs. Standards for response to customer
issues and requests in a timely fashion, resolve issues and manage
escalated service requests. • Additionally, should take time to
research and assess upcoming system updates and functionally not
currently being utilized and recommend system changes. The
(Solutions Architect) Manager, Digital Learning Solutions will
report to the Senior Manager, Learning Design & Solutions. This
position is open to remote work. Penske's corporate offices are
located in Reading, PA, 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
Candidates would be expected to travel as necessary for work and/or
development opportunities (less than 10% of the time).
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in
Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Web developer,
solutions architect, Masters preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of
managing/collaborating with system engineers and IT support
preferred. Microsoft certification preferred or equivalent
experience, learning management systems experience, web development
preferred. • Experience with business systems (Oracle HCM, Learning
Cloud or LMS equivalent, Microsoft certification preferred or
equivalent experience, Industry trends - HCI, Cloud etc.,
Networking concepts) • Excellent communication, project and program
management, and influence skills required • Sincere hunger to
learn, creative mindset, and high learning agility • Experience and
expertise in applying human-centered design and design thinking
principles and methods in developing impactful learning
experiences. • High personal standard for quality of work product •
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule,
work at the specific location if required, complete Penske
