Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) **$1,000 Sign-on Bonus Incentive! Position Opening: 40 hrs / week, Evening Shift (2:30pm - 10:30pm) Rehab, Monday - Fridays Fairmount Homes is located on a beautiful 50+ acre campus in rural Ephrata, PA. • Assists Charge Nurses with emergency situations, admission, discharges, and transfers.
• Keeps Director of Nursing Services informed of status of residents via 24-hour report.
• Directs response to Disaster/Emergency Plan in absence of administration.
• Makes rounds on assigned units assessing acutely ill residents and notifies team members of any unusual or additional care needs of those residents.
• Adheres to Corporate Compliance Plan and complies with HIPAA Privacy standards.
• Coordinates the following resident-related requirements and makes assignments for completion of these requirements: (a) resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and deaths; (b) care plans; (c) physical examination and laboratory test results; (d) keeps residents' files complete, current, and organized.
• Notifies residents' physicians and families of emergencies and exceptional significant changes in the health status of the resident. RN Job Qualifications:
  • Have current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. CPR certification and First Aid required.
  • Communicate professionally with medical staff, nursing team members, residents, and families.
  • Demonstrate tactful problem-solving and appropriate independent decision-making abilities.
