I am reaching out regarding your interest in working locums! We have TWO urgent and immediate needs for Internal Medicine Cardiologist outside of Reading, Pennsylvania. This opportunity is for ongoing locums placement.

1st Opportunity:

• 
  
• Inpatient Rounding, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
  
• 1 FTE. 10-20 patients seeing both follow up and consults rarely extending to 25 total encounters.
  
• Average Number of Admissions per shift - 10-20 consults per shift (mix of follow and consults).
  
• What support staff is available - RNs, APPs
  
• Age of patients - 18+ (no PEDs)
  
• Admissions Required Yes (1 or less weekly. Predominantly consult service.)
  
  
  2nd Opportunity
  
  • 
    
  • Inpatient Weekend Support
    
  • Schedule: Saturday and Sunday rounding, pager call 24 hours from 8a Saturday to 8a Sunday.
    
  • Patient Load: 10-20 patients seeing both follow up and consults rarely extending to 25 total encounters.
    
  • Reading of Echos, stress tests and ecgs
    
  • Average Phone consults 0-3 per shift
    
  • Average patients seen while on call 0-1 per shift
    
  • Average admissions while on call 0-1 per shift
    
    
    
    EMR: Epic, preferred experience
    Credentialing: 60-90 days
