The facility features 108 private inpatient beds and an attached outpatient medical office building. SUMMARY OF POSITION:Registered Nurses in the IMCU are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to a designated group of patients. The Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) is located on the 3nd floor of the Hampden Medical Center and can provide exceptional care to 24 patients, in spacious private rooms. Patients admitted to the IMCU can have wide array of abnormalities. TheIMC team provides care to adult and geriatric patients admitted for medical or surgical needs. These patients include, but are not limited, to EGS/Acute Care, General Surgery, Neurology, Gynecology-Oncology, Orthopedic, Cardiology, and Medicine patients.
