conscientious Nurse Aide for SCI Mahanoy. If you have the required

DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Certified Nurses Aide under the direct
supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide care in the
following areas: Skilled Care, Personal Care, Outpatient, and
General Population.Some of the daily duties include, but are not
limited to: completing basic nursing skills and nursing procedures
to maintain optimum inmate health and provide quality care;
completing documentation as required; collecting specimens as
directed by the Registered Nurse for urine, feces, and sputum;
completing or assisting inmates with daily living activities and
hygiene to ensure basic physical care needs are met; participating
in Life Skills programming by following nursing care plan orders,
providing care/interventions consistent with inmates needs,
documenting on assigned aspects of nursing care plan; participating
in emergency situations by performing emergency procedures as
indicatedCPR, obstructed airway; and participating in emergency

.Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment. 40 hour work week.
- Work hours are 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Sunday - Saturday (rotating
days off, every other weekend/holiday), with 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be
non-negotiable.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age
50 or 55.

Requirements:
- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse
Aide Registry;or
- Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of
geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.Additional
Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal
