Nephrology opening in Reading, Pennsylvania. Nephrology Opening in Pennsylvania Located in Reading, PA Full-time/Permanent Private practice nephrology group - 100% nephrology Looking for BC/BE nephrologist (summer 2022 start ok) - Can sponsor H1b Visa (no J1) Cover two hospitals, one post-acute rehabilitation unit, three dialysis units, one office (all sites within 15 minutes drive) - Inpatient consultation service only (no primary nephrology service- no admissions or discharges - Teaching residents +/- medical students at one hospital site - Renal biopsies and dialysis catheters done by IR - We order and manage HD, CRRT, PD, plasmapheresis (if not trained in plasmapheresis already we will train) - Call averages 1:5 - Many partial work days on hospital service weeks Salary $230K+ Moving allowance- $3000 Health insurance Malpractice insurance State medical license and DEA renewals paid by practice CME allowance- $1500/year 6 weeks vacation 1 week CME Three year partnership track About Reading: Excellent local schools (Blue Ribbon designation) Affordable housing Minimal traffic Lots of activities for families: orchards, pumpkin patches, holiday events, Reading Public Museum w/ planetarium, golf courses, lakes, many hiking trails- drivable to Appalachian Trail, minor league sports, shows/concerts, multiple ski resorts and amusement parks within 1.5 hrs drive.
