Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled physicians and therapists, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care.INTERNAL MEDICINE HOSPITALIST JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTSWe are looking for a full time Internal Medicine Hospitalist Physician interested in building a rehabilitation practice and growing with the community. The hospitalist will round and consult on rehabilitation patients in the hospital and collaboratively work with PM&R and other supporting physicians. This opportunity has a great financial package available including generous income guarantee and full relocation. Encompass Health has a wonderful group of collegial physicians with plenty of specialty support from local acute care hospitals.The work day will typically run from 9:00am - 4:00pm but is incredibly flexible with no set hours. You will not be required in the building during this entire time and can answer any issues via pager/telephone and remote access to EMR as they arise during the day. Typical expected work day seeing 15-20 patients. There are no special restrictions with position and you can use time away from hospital to moon-light elsewhere for extra income as long as you remain available and complete required duties of the position.

  • MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
