at a time, one family at a time. Addictions Therapist What is
Expected in this ROLE Provide drug and alcohol treatment, case
management services to individuals presenting with an addiction
and/or co-occurring disorder. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and
assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Provide
individual and group therapy sessions to clients. Utilize
evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral
therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychotherapy. Assist
clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing
mental health conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Monitor and evaluate
client progress through data collection and outcome measures.
Provide crisis intervention and support, as needed. Stay up to date
on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral
health. What is Expected of YOU Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Addictions Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an
accredited college or university. 2 years of paid-related
experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and
experience. Valid license or certification as a therapist (e.g.,
LPC, LMFT, LCSW) Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel) and overall computer skills and be able to use
Electronic Medical Records. Knowledge of Manage Care. Experience
working with individuals with mental health disorders, trauma, or
substance abuse. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation and assessment
tools (e.g., DSM-5, ICD-10) Proficiency in conducting individual
