Job Description:

Seeking a full-time Night NICU Respiratory Therapist in Rockford, IL, to join a 52-bed Level III NICU with advanced technology and family-focused suites.
Provide neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care, including complex procedures, airway management, and ventilator support.
Transport critically ill patients via ground and air, operating and troubleshooting respiratory equipment.
Assist with neonatal emergencies, delivery resuscitations, and specialty procedures like intubation and surfactant administration.
Mentor staff, act as charge therapist, and ensure quality and safety in care delivery.
Requirements include a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, 1+ year of experience (6 months critical care), RRT certification, and CPR, ACLS, NRP credentials.
Must pass background checks, hold valid licenses, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
