Job Description HEALTH ANALYTICS DIRECTOR, HEALTH CENTER
CONTROLLED NETWORK (HCCN) Mid-Atlantic Association of Community
Health Centers (MACHC) TRANSFORM HEALTHCARE THROUGH DATA ANALYTICS
WORK LOCATION REQUIREMENTS · Physical presence in our Annapolis, MD
office, TWO (2) full days per week (non-negotiable) · Travel to
health center sites throughout Maryland and Delaware as needed
Remote work is available 3 days per week for candidates who meet
the on-site requirements. ABOUT MACHC The Mid-Atlantic Association
of Community Health Centers (MACHC) serves as the federally
designated Health Center Controlled Network and Primary Care
Association for community health centers across Maryland and
Delaware. Through training, data analytics, and consultation of
high-performing organizations, MACHC empowers health centers to
deliver comprehensive, high-quality primary care in medically

to the dynamic nature of today's healthcare system. THE OPPORTUNITY
MACHC is seeking an experienced healthcare data analytics
professional to serve as our Health Center Controlled Network
(HCCN) Health Analytics Director. Reporting to the Health Center
Controlled Network (HCCN) Executive Director, this vital role will
support our Participating Health Centers (PHCs) in leveraging
health information technology and data analytics to transform
patient care and operational excellence. As the HCCN Health
Analytics Director, you will collaborate with health centers to
strengthen and leverage health information technology and data
analytics to enhance the quality of care, improve patient safety,
and reduce costs in Maryland and Delaware's communities. IMPACT
HCCN Health Analytics Director will: · Support Digital
Transformation - Work with health centers through the evolving
healthcare technology landscape, helping implement solutions that
drive clinical excellence and operational efficiency. · Build
Collaborative Relationships - Develop and nurture relationships
with health center staff, technology vendors, and healthcare
innovators to create a collaborative ecosystem that advances
MACHC's HCCN mission. · Drive Data-Powered Improvement - Guide
health centers to harness the power of data analytics to identify
opportunities, measure outcomes, and make evidence-based decisions
that enhance patient care. · Contribute to Team Excellence - Work
collaboratively with the HCCN team and other MACHC team members to
provide exceptional technical assistance and consulting services to
PHCs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data Analytics & Reporting · Serve as
data expert for HCCN data sources (e.g., UDS, Maryland and Delaware
Healthcare Information Exchanges, Electronic Health Records,
clinical lab data, etc.) · Develop and maintain a comprehensive set
of dashboards, charts, and scorecards to support HCCN objectives.
Share benchmark data with PHCs to encourage prioritizing quality
improvement and increasing operational efficiency · Champion data
governance best practices and advanced analytic capabilities across
the network, connecting clinical workflows with robust data
collection and validation processes · Work with the HCCN team to
create, document, and optimize a standard practice for data
cleansing, validation, and storage to increase the HCCN data
accuracy and availability · Translate complex analytics into
actionable insights for health center leadership decision-making,
demonstrating the value and impact of health IT investments Health
Center Collaboration & Support · Serve as the primary HCCN point of
contact and establish collaborative relationships with assigned
PHCs. Each member of the HCCN team will be responsible for a
segment of the PHCs · Guide health centers in optimizing electronic
health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology
platforms that enhance patient care and operational efficiency ·
Support population health management initiatives, including
pre-visit planning, care gap outreach, risk stratification, and
care coordination · Provide expert guidance on clinical workflow
optimization, documentation practices, and quality improvement
initiatives Technical Assistance & Project Support · Support the
HCCN team's efforts to maintain relationships with HIT vendors,
facilitate user groups, and coordinate demonstrations/training
sessions · Develop and deliver communications (e.g., calls,
presentations, emails, etc.) to various stakeholders to promote
HCCN objectives · Provide technical and project management support
to the HCCN Executive Director for a variety of HCCN tasks and
activities · Capture and record HCCN-mandated information to
streamline mandated grant reporting requirements QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience · Required: Bachelor's degree with at least
10 years of experience working with complex healthcare
datasets/databases · Preferred: Master's degree in public health,
population health, informatics, healthcare administration, or
related field Technical Expertise · Experience in developing
advanced data analytics products for healthcare settings,
preferably primary care · Experience using analytic tools such as
Azara, i2i, Relevant, Tableau, or Power BI, or a proven track
record of using or building a data analytics platform to support
quality improvement, operational efficiencies, or financial savings
in a healthcare setting · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
including data analysis, automation, and visualization · Experience
as a super user of at least one central EHR system, with
demonstrated ability to optimize clinical workflows and
documentation practices Core Competencies · Exceptional
relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and
multidisciplinary teams · Outstanding verbal and written
communication abilities, with substantial research and presentation
skills · A general understanding of population health concepts and
systems, including care gap outreach, risk stratification, care
management, and coordination · Ability to translate complex
technical concepts for diverse audiences · Collaborative,
mission-driven professional dedicated to improving community health
