Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: York, PA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,910 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in York, Pennsylvania, 17403! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience License: Current Registered Nurse license required Certifications: NIHSS BLS EPIC experience required Must-Have: Clinical fit screening required First-time travelers accepted Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Description: This position involves working night shifts, typically three or four 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekend shifts are required every other week and holidays as needed. Candidates will undergo a clinical screening process to determine their fit for the role. If successful, candidates will be reviewed by the manager for the final decision. The unit primarily cares for patients with respiratory issues, end-stage renal disease, congestive heart failure, and stroke overflow. Additional patient care may involve managing patients with alcohol withdrawal, gastrointestinal bleeding, and sepsis. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Candidates must be willing to care for patients with COVID-19. The facility has specific requirements for time off and does not allow requests for more than seven days. Strong clinical skills are essential, including experience in telemetry and managing various intravenous protocols. Additional responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, performing tracheostomy care, and administering blood products. Candidates will work in a collaborative environment supported by interdisciplinary teams.
