Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• MS Neuro Unit specializing in neurological patient care /n• Provide care to neuro patient population including stroke, seizure, dementia, brain tumor, acute change in mental status, and ambulatory dysfunction patients /n• Patient ratios: 1:5 during day shifts, 1:6 during night shifts (RN only) or 1:8 (RN LPN) /n• Weekend requirement: every other weekend required /n• 2 years of experience required /n• Must be stroke certified /n• NIHSS certification required /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS /n• PA license or compact license required at time of submission /n• Experience with Epic charting system required /n• Must be competent in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, and various respiratory support equipment /n• 12 hours of orientation provided /n• First-time travelers accepted /n• 35-bed unit with comprehensive stroke center capabilities /n• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive stroke center specializing in adult neurological care. The 35-bed medical surgical telemetry unit focuses on treating patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, TIAs, neuromuscular conditions, seizures, brain and spinal cord tumors, subdural hematomas, headaches, post-operative complex spine cases, and epidural abscesses.
