Job Description Job Description Job Summary: The Resident
Services Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the
Resident Services Manager by assisting in the management and
delivery of resident services programs. This position will work
directly with residents, facilitating engagement and participation
in program activities while ensuring alignment with the Authority’s
goals for self-sufficiency and community empowerment. The
Coordinator will help assess resident needs, coordinate services,
and maintain effective communication with resident associations and
community partners. Responsibilities: Assist in the development and
implementation of resident services programs and initiatives as
directed by the Manager. Conduct assessments and gather feedback
from residents to identify needs and improve service delivery.
Facilitate resident participation in governance structures and
program activities, ensuring that resident voices are heard in
decision-making processes. Coordinate meetings, workshops, and
training sessions for residents to enhance engagement and education
about available services and resources. Build and maintain positive
relationships with Resident Associations and community partners to
foster collaboration and support for resident services. Monitor and
evaluate program activities, gathering data to assess program
effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and
maintain accurate records of resident participation, program
outcomes, and service utilization metrics. Support the preparation
of reports for federal and state grant compliance, ensuring that
all documentation is thorough and submitted on time. Assist in the
coordination of grant-funded projects, working closely with the
Manager to track progress and outcomes. Provide training and
support to volunteers and interns involved in resident services
programs. Participate in community meetings and outreach efforts to
promote available services and gather insights for program
enhancement. Perform other duties as assigned to support the
mission and goals of the Community Programming and Resident
Services department. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social
work, community development, public administration, or a related
field preferred. At least two(2) years of experience in community
services, social work, or a related field Strong understanding of
resident engagement strategies, community needs assessment, and
service delivery models. Experience working with diverse
populations and understanding the challenges faced by community
residents Strong analytical skills and experience in program
evaluation and data analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
and other relevant software applications. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills Detail-oriented with strong
organizational and time management abilities.
