Job Description Job Description Sunday-Thursday Full time BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced, certified CHHA for a full-time opportunity to complete hospice visits to clients located throughout Atlantic and/or Cape May counties in NJ . As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. Hours are Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday through Saturday - days 8:30a-5p - 40 hours/week Offering flexible schedules, 1:1 patient ratio, weekly pay and comprehensive benefits package! A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must: Have at least one year of work experience Must be listed on the NJ Aide Registry, active and in good standing. Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination Have a criminal background check completed Meet all state requirements Enjoy being part of a team that cares and a company that believes in leading with our values Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide : Activities of daily living Light housekeeping Bathing Grooming Toileting Nail care Range of motion / exercises Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices Oral feeding Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc. Assisting with ambulation Medication assistance Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $22.50 per hour As an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider, BAYADA complies with all state/local mandates.
