Job Description Job Description The IBHS Clinical Director (CD)
of the Individual (IDV) service line is responsible for a variety
of clinical tasks and responsibilities. The CD-IDV must ensure that
client delivery of services adheres to best-practice standards and
evidence-based treatment models while remaining compatible with
Intensive Behavior Health Services (IBHS) regulations and Manage
Care Organization (MCO) guidelines that ensure high-quality
treatment to the client and family. As a CD-IDV this position will
provide direct supervision to the BC and MT staff as well as
clinical support and training. Tasks are diverse and are completed
under the direct supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer. The
Clinical Director (CD) of the Individual (IDV) service line is
responsible for, but not limited to the following: • Provides
training and collaboration with BC and MT workers and ensures that
all Intensive Behavior Health Services (IBHS) training requirements
are followed and are within the specified timeframes as dictated by
Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC policy and IBHS requirements. • Will
supervise BC and MT (1-hour a month face-to-face or 2-hours a month
for those BC and MT who offer supervision to BHTs, 30-minutes every
6-months of direct observation) staff and ensures that their work
is meeting IBHS regulatory requirements, Matrix Behavior Solutions,
LLC policies and procedures, best-practice standards, and
evidence-based practices. • Aid/assist the Senior Clinical Director
with developing and maintaining an individualized training plan for
all supervisees. • Evaluates clinical competency of supervisees and
completes performance evaluations. • Audit the clinical records of
supervisees and validate the quality and quantity of services
provided. • Maintain clinical supervision as well if rendering IBHS
treatment to clients. • Adherence to best practice treatment models
that align with mental health licensing boards. • Effective
communication with colleagues, supervisors, and all appropriate
parties regarding Treatment Updates, Assessments, and
Individualized Treatment Plans. Comply with all Matrix Behavior
Solutions, LLC paperwork and documentation in accordance with MCO
regulations and company policy within designated timeframes. The
responsibilities assigned to a CD of Individual Service Line are
completed remotely. As a CD of the Individual Service Line is open
to accepting cases, supervisees, and willing to work within their
scope of competency, training, and education to ensure best
practice standards and effective treatment outcomes.
Qualifications: The Clinical Director (CD) of Individual (IDV)
services must possess, at a minimum: • A master's degree in the
mental health field with preferred one year post graduate
experience in the provision of mental health direct services and
meet one of the following: 1) Must be licensed in this Commonwealth
as a physician practicing psychiatry, psychologist, professional
counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified registered
nurse practitioner with a mental health certification or clinical
social worker. 2) Must be licensed in this Commonwealth as a
behavior specialist, social worker, or as a professional with a
scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of IBHS
and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental
health direct service practicum. Minimum Skills and Abilities:
Individuals who function in this capacity, at a minimum must: •
Possess the ability to analyze complex issues and solve them
correctly and creatively. • Possess strong communication skills in
both a verbal and written format. • Possess the ability to meet
established deadlines and schedules. • Maintain confidentiality in
all matters relating to the clients and the client's family. • Be
organized and efficient in the performance of their job. • Language
proficiency: must have the capacity to create, read, and evaluate
Individual Treatment Plans and Assessments. • Ability to
successfully reply to the most complicated questions about clients
and/or families. • Can transfer skills to clients, families, and
requested parties in treatment. • Knowledge of mathematics: the
capacity to comprehend and use basic mathematical concepts. •
Comprehensive knowledge of the basic principles of psychology and
behavioral treatment. • Comprehensive knowledge of mental
disabilities and treatments and social implications. •
Comprehensive knowledge of behavior analysis, psychological
techniques, theories, and practices employed in the modification of
human behavior. Staff must have appropriate background checks,
transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct
contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI
clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare
programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender
Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting
