Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, focusing
on providing the highest quality care in rehabilitation and
long-term care settings. At Pine Acres, we strive to deliver
personalized and skilled nursing care, fostering an environment of
healing and wellness. The ideal candidate will administer nursing
care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician,
participate in the implementation of patient care plans, and ensure
the health, comfort, and safety of patients. Monitor, record, and
report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain
accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care. Administer
medications and perform routine nursing procedures according to the
care plan. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to
assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Order,
interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess
patient's condition. Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or
healthcare personnel. Advise patients on health maintenance and
disease prevention. Assist with patient rehabilitation and provide
information on home-care needs. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing care
methods and procedures. In-depth knowledge of health and safety
guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)
Excellent teamwork and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to handle
high-stress environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in
the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or
ability to obtain certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) is a plus.
