Job Description Primary Care Physician (Adult Family Medicine) We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Care Physician to join our established and patient-focused practice in Ellicott City, Maryland. Schedule & Location - Location: Ellicott City, MD - Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week) - Office Hours: - Monday Thursday: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM - Fridays: 7:30 AM 1:00 PM (Enjoy early weekend starts!) Key Responsibilities The physician will manage a varied panel of adult patients, focusing on comprehensive, continuous care: - Provide full-scope Primary Care services for adult patients ages 18 and older. - Diagnose, treat, and manage acute/chronic outpatient conditions; conduct annual physicals, routine preventative care, and manage chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia). - Perform well-woman exams and provide associated women's health screening and counseling. - Maintain a manageable patient volume, seeing an average of 1822 patients per day. - Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation, completing all electronic health records (EHR) charts within 48 hours of the patient visit. - Collaborate with support staff and specialists to coordinate complete patient care. Qualifications - Required: Medical Degree (MD or DO). - Required: Current, unrestricted medical license in the State of Maryland (or eligible to obtain). - Required: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. - Experience: Preferably at least 1 year of post-graduate experience in an outpatient primary care setting.
