This surgical nurse opportunity is ideal for experienced CVOR RNs and perioperative nurses seeking short-term contract work in New Jersey. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Camden, NJ (Zip: 08103) — Camden, New Jersey; near Philadelphia, PA/n - Position Type: 13-week contract (CVOR RN / Cardiovascular OR Nurse)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM/n - On-Call: 2 shifts per six-week schedule; weekend as needed/n - Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday; must work either the day before or after if off the holiday. Required to work both an evening and a day, as well as winter and spring hallmark holidays./n /n/nCompensation/n /n - Hourly Pay Rate: $102.30/hour/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470–$2,600/week (based on 36 hours per week)/n /n/nJob Requirements (CVOR RN / Perioperative Nurse)/n /n - Minimum 4 years of Level 1 trauma experience; prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred/n - Proven experience in both scrub and circulate roles for endovascular and cardiovascular procedures/n - Active New Jersey RN license (compact license not accepted unless NJ license holder)/n - BSN degree preferred/n - BLS and NIHSS certifications required/n - Excellent attention to detail for patient safety, quality monitoring, and regulatory compliance/n - Strong organizational and communication skills for coordination of care across the OR and multidisciplinary teams/n - At least 1 year of relevant RN experience required; perioperative/CVOR experience strongly preferred/n /n/nResponsibilities (Operating Room / CVOR)/n /n - Scrub and circulate during endovascular and cardiovascular surgical procedures as a CVOR RN/n - Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center/n - Coordinate patient care and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and multidisciplinary teams in the OR/n - Monitor patient safety, sterile technique, and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards/n - Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage per schedule/n - Maintain accurate documentation, surgical counts, and compliance with hospital and state requirements/n /n/n Why Apply: This CVOR RN position offers hands-on endovascular and trauma case experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center serving Camden and the greater Philadelphia region.
